Logistics Supervisor Milk Supply

A leading and expanding FMCG Manufacturing organization is looking for a logistics supervisor to join its dynamic team and manage all aspects of logistics throughout our supply chain. The logistics supervisor will be responsible for organizing and providing efficient transportation and storage solutions for the entire lifecycle of their dairy products, from the acquisition of raw materials to final product distribution and milk supply.

A successful logistics coordinator should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities


  • The incumbent will be responding to farmer’s queries.

  • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.

  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures.

  • Generating Milk fleet performance report.

  • Debriefing drivers after the trip.

  • Tracking milk fleet.

  • Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.

  • Reports generation, support for documentation trail.

  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.

  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.


 Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Transport and Logistics/Supply Chain Management, (a Degree will be an added advantage).

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role and experience working in FMCG

  • Knowledge of logistics and Fleet management

  • Renewable Contract. Must be available to start immediately.
