Administrator

A company with a subsidiary in the retail and hospitality sectors is looking for a sharp administrator to provide leadership support and keep the company's office running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be required to oversee administrative and clerical activities; greet and direct office visitors; collect, organize, and retrieve information and documents; and make arrangements for meetings and travel.

Duties And Responsibilities


  • Maintain and file records of income and expenditure, process invoices and claims for payments and track payments relating to branch costs and activities.

  • Provides research and operational financial documentation for reporting to the Managing Director.

  • Develops business-centric reporting by being proactive in analyzing the business, financial performance, key metrics and its strategic priorities.

  • Coordinates and implements special projects as assigned by the Managing Director.

  • Provides relevant and insightful reports to monitor performance and support decision making.

  • Consolidates, reviews, interprets reports from subsidiaries and submits to the Managing Director.

  • Provides critical high-level operational support to the Managing Director’s office by tracking assisting with the prioritization of tasks and activities that required by the Managing Director’s attention.

  • Provides analytic support to the Managing Directors office by reviewing financial information provided to identify key financial and business issues for inclusion in the Managing Directors reports.

  • Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with key stakeholders on behalf of the Managing Director.

  • Ensures periodic track of communication needed for internal and external priority contacts.

  • Prepare and submit statutory financial declarations.

  • Assist with administering office affairs, including in relation to staff, registration matters, licenses and permits, transport, maintenance, stationary and consumables.

  • Guide and develop the competence of relevant staff and stakeholders.


Qualifications And Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting and finance in the private sector.

  • A university degree/ diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a professional courses such as CIMA.

  • Good knowledge of retail and hospitality accounting including reporting requirements.

    active member of the team.
