Customer Success Consultant - POS, Printers & Interactive Screens

x1 Customer Success Consultant specialising in POS and Enterprise Content Management, Solution Engineering, Printers, Interactive Screens   

Duties and Responsibilities 


  • This role is part of a team of consultants, engineers, and analysts tasked with designing, implementing and administering technology-based solutions in support.

  • The job entails the installation of hardware and support for clients.

  • The main role is offering expert support supporting the sales team, client roll out and ongoing client support’ of the client’s current business and tech plans.

  • Zeroing in on the tech-related weak spots and areas of improvement within the product offering and then propose solutions.

  • Project management skills or willingness to learn is an added advantage.


Required Skills and Competencies:

Qualifying criteria which are key to the successful performance of the role are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 5 consecutive years of experience in Hardware Sales and Support

  • Masters in Management Information Systems (MIS) is an added advantage

  • Demonstrated background in evaluating, selecting, deploying, and supporting Point of Sale (POS) hardware such as registers, payment terminals and servers including fixture integration

  • Experience with automating IT solutions for the purpose of zero touch implementations (i. e. scripting, packaging, etc.)

  • Experience with a client management tool

  • Understand management of systems in distributed environments

  • Familiarity with data security standards, be a jack of all trades

  • Have an analytical mind to be able to solve complex issues and enjoys evaluating new technologies

  • Knowledge of IOS and Android applications

  • Project management skills or willing to learn is an added advantage

  • Prior experience in customer experience strategies

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Prior accounting knowledge

  • Strong sense of ownership of their work

  • Highly perceptive and personable and must love and enjoy selling

  • Analytical, assertive, inquisitive and highly intuitive
