Duties and Responsibilities


  • The incumbents of the above positions must have a comprehensive understanding of sales and accounting software and be able to undertake the preparation and planning of the sales process for the above listed accounting software products.

  • Candidates are expected to have full product knowledge and must be able to undertake regular refresher product courses as prescribed by the supplier.

  • Self-learning and a natural interest in software products not only limited to the current product offering, is critical - as the candidates are expected to prospect potential clients, prepare tailor-made presentations and educate prospective clients on the benefits of the software and  how to use it for optimum and business efficiency.

  • A background or keen interest in accounting profession knowledge and understanding of organisation workflows (which is a key to the software sales) in the training and induction on the accounting software.

  • In each day the candidates must be willing and ready to make 40 qualified leads per day – They must be comfortable with making cold calls in some instances from existing leads on the organisations CRM and the ability to prospect fresh leads.

  • The ultimate goal for this position is to consistently increase the sales conversation rate in close sales in line with the set targets and business development strategy.


Required Skills and Competencies:

Qualifying criteria which are key to the successful performance of the role are:

  • Degree in marketing or other Sales and Marketing qualification with five years of experience

  • A full appreciation and demonstration in understanding of the sales cycle

  • Ability to generate new sales through needs-based analysis and consultative approach to determine clients’ needs to meet personal & company goals

  • Ability to make and create a power point presentation and deliver the presentation

  • Call on clients (new and existing) to build and maintain ongoing relationships

  • Deliver excellent customer service

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products & technology

  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational abilities & high attention to detail

  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills

  • Aged 30+

  • Must have prior and proven sales experience

  • A keen interest in technology, the ability to self-tech

  • Document workflow management for Metrofile

  • Intelligent document processing for Kofax

  • Business process management for Kofax

  • Financial process automation for Kofax

  • Prior marketing and customer service experience

  • Prior accounting knowledge

  • Strong sense of ownership of their work

  • Highly perceptive and personable and must love and enjoy selling

  • A healthy sense of self and purpose

  • Analytical, assertive, inquisitive and highly intuitive
