Sales Officer

Our client, a leading agricultural company in Zimbabwe that specializes in the production and distribution of high-quality agricultural products, including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, is looking to employ a sales-driven and customer-oriented sales officer to oversee their sales team and determine the most effective solutions to increase company sales.

The sales officer's responsibilities include recommending improvements to current sales strategies, informing potential and existing customers of company promotions, as well as preparing accurate sales and expense reports. You should also be able to continually identify new sales opportunities through customer referrals.

To be successful as a sales officer, you should be persuasive and knowledgeable of industry regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company's sales targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the agriculture sector.

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with the company's overall objectives.

  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote the company's products and services.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in sales and marketing, business administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2  years of relevant work experience in sales in a sales and marketing environment.

  • A driver's license is a must.
