Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team and support our business growth objectives. The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strategy to achieve our business objectives and contributing to the development of our overall business strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Develop a strategy to achieve our business growth objectives.

  • Contribute to the development of our overall business strategy.

  • Develop and oversee intelligence gathering and opportunity forecasting processes for new business.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.

  • Manage the business development team and ensure that targets are met.

  • Ensure that all business development activities are aligned with our values and operating principles.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing/Business Development or equivalent tertiary qualification.

  • A professional Sales or Marketing qualification such as MAZ or similar post-graduation qualification will be an advantage.

  • At least 5 years' post-qualifying experience in business development.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to build a strategy from various data points.

  • Ability to seek and develop new relationships to achieve strategic business objectives.

  • Demonstrable financial acumen, with an understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
