Operations Manager

Professional Security (Pvt) Ltd is a leading security services provider in Zimbabwe, with a strong focus on providing reliable and efficient security solutions to our clients. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality security services.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 Ordinary Levels including English and Mathematics, a Diploma or Degree in Security Management/Studies, at least 5 years of experience in a senior position in a commercial security organization, military or police force, and a clean Class 4 Driver's License.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, managing the security personnel, and ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, including managing the security personnel, scheduling shifts, and ensuring that all security procedures are followed.

  • Ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, including conducting regular security assessments and implementing appropriate security measures.

  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • Conducting regular training sessions for security personnel on relevant security procedures and protocols.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor the performance of the security personnel and identify areas for improvement.

  • Providing timely and accurate reports to the management team on the company's operations and performance.

  • Managing the budget for the security department and ensuring that all expenses are within budget.

  • Ensuring that all security equipment is in good working condition and that all repairs and maintenance are carried out in a timely manner.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 Ordinary Levels including English and Mathematics.

  • Diploma or Degree in Security Management/Studies or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior position in a commercial security organization, military or police force.

  • A clean Class 4 Driver's License.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage a team and deliver results.

  • Sound knowledge of security procedures and protocols.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
