Projects Manager

Project 56 Construction, a subsidiary of Nash Furnishers is a reputable construction company in Zimbabwe, committed to delivering high-quality construction projects that meet our clients' needs. We are dedicated to improving the construction industry by providing innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients.

We are looking for a Projects Manager to oversee all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met, and monitoring project progress to make necessary adjustments.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and implementation.

  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met.

  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that project goals are achieved.

  • Ensure that all safety and quality standards are met on the job site.

  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.


Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field.

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry and project management.

  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficient in project management software and tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
