Stores Clerk

Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZESA Holdings, responsible for the generation of electricity in Zimbabwe.

We operate and maintain four thermal power stations and three hydro power stations in the country, with a combined installed capacity of 2,240 MW. Our mission is to provide reliable, efficient, and sustainable electricity to our customers, and to contribute to the social and economic development of Zimbabwe.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stores Clerk to join our dynamic team in Bulawayo.

The Stores Clerk will be responsible for assisting with the management of the organization's inventory of supplies and equipment. This individual will work closely with the procurement team to ensure that the company has the necessary materials to carry out its operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the receiving, storage, and issuance of supplies and equipment

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns

  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy of records

  • Assist with the preparation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders

  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure that supplies and equipment are available when needed

  • Operate computerized inventory control systems to track inventory levels and transactions


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 O Levels including Maths and English Language

  • Diploma/Certificate in Purchasing and Supply

  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • Must be computer literate
