Human Resources Officer

FACT is looking for a results-driven Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic team. This key role will oversee all personnel administration functions including recruitment, payroll, training, and employee relations.

As FACT's HR professional, the selected candidate will play a pivotal part in supporting our compassionate staff through principle-centered people management

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assisting with recruitment, conducting interviews, reference checks and on-boarding

  • Maintaining accurate employee files and records on the HR database

  • Processing payroll in Belina, including salary payments and reconciling accounts

  • Attending to staff queries, grievances according to procedure

  • Implementing training and development programs based on regular skills assessments

  • Ensuring orientation of new and existing employees on HR policies and benefits

  • Advising managers and staff on HR best practices, legal/regulatory changes

  • Researching, drafting and revising HR policies and documentation as needed

  • Conducting exit interviews and managing off-boarding of outgoing employees

  • Maintaining high confidentiality and discretion in all personnel matters


Qualifications and Experience:

  • HR Management or Organizational Psychology degree

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR administration, preferably NGO sector

  • Expert knowledge of employment law and regulations

  • Proficiency with Belina payroll software and HRIS systems

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
