As a Media & Communications Graduate Trainee, you will work closely with the media and communications team to support various communication initiatives and activities. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills in media relations, content creation, copywriting, and public relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in developing and implementing media and communication strategies.

  • Create engaging content for press releases, articles, newsletters, and social media platforms.

  • Support media relations efforts, including drafting media pitches and press materials.

  • Monitor media coverage and prepare media monitoring reports.

  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor communications.

  • Assist in organizing and coordinating media events and press conferences.

  • Support the management of social media platforms and assist in community engagement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for effective communication.

  • Assist in maintaining media databases and contact lists.

  • Participate in the preparation and distribution of internal communications materials.

  • Provide general administrative support to the media and communications team.

  • Stay updated on emerging media and communication trends and technologies.

  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance your skills.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Recent graduate with limited or no work experience in media and communications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent storytelling and content creation abilities.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.

  • Knowledge of media relations and public relations principles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
