Verify Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Monitoring and Evaluation Clerk to join our team in Mutare. As a Monitoring and Evaluation Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of an Integrated Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation system.

Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits, data collection, and preparing reports to contribute to the effective monitoring and evaluation of projects. Join us and contribute to our commitment to delivering excellence in project management and evaluation.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the development of an Integrated Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation system.

  • Conduct site visits to project locations to gather data and assess project progress.

  • Collect data using quantitative and qualitative tools and techniques.

  • Assist in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure data collection and reporting align with project objectives and requirements.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly Monitoring and Evaluation reports.

  • Support the identification and implementation of appropriate monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring and evaluation processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and inputs for monitoring and evaluation activities.

  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in project monitoring and evaluation.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.

  • A project management qualification will be an added advantage.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.

  • Experience working in the Public Sector.

  • Knowledge of Integrated Results-Based Management.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.

  • Proficiency in statistical packages such as SPSS and Stata is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
