Retail and Operations Manager (Furniture Retail Distribution)

A dynamic, fast-growing furniture retail distribution company is seeking to engage the services of a Retail and Operations Manager to drive and manage the company’s overall operations, formulating strategy and setting goals for growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE



  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the business.

  • Designing business strategy and setting targets for growth ensuring profitability.

  • Setting policies and processes.

  • Leading a team and ensuring they work productively and develop professionally.

  • Regularly reporting to upper management.


KEY COMPETENCIES



  • Good leadership skills and strategic thinking.

  • Team building and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS



  • A business management-related bachelor’s degree, a postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.

  • Experience in furniture retail industry is a must.

  • A good sales and marketing background.

  • Strong financial literacy and knowledge of financial services sector an added advantage.

  • Proven success in a managerial role.

  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
