Accounts Executive - Ledthem Chemicals

We are looking for an organized and honest Accounts Executive to manage the financial bookkeeping of our business. The responsibilities of an Accounts Executive include reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts, analyzing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements, and preparing budgets.

To be successful as an accounting officer, you should have a degree in Accounting, knowledge of accounting competencies, and administration skills. Ultimately, a high-quality Accounts Executive should be able to successfully contribute to the organization's financial efficiency, while maintaining records of expenditures and profits accurately.

Accounts Executive Responsibilities:




  • Maintaining and reviewing financial records.

  • Ensuring compliance with Zimra returns and all tax laws.


  • Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments

  • Analyzing financial records to identify errors and discrepancies.

  • Preparing budgets regularly.

  • Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports.

  • Evaluating internal management systems, procedures, and risks in order to provide recommendations.

  • Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements.


Accounts Executive Requirements:




  • A degree in Accounting or Finance or similar.

  • A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CIS, etc is an added advantage.

  • Previous working experience as an Accounts Executive or a similar position.

  • Knowledge and competency in accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software such as Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks, FreshBooks, etc.
