Workshop Administrator

We are seeking a diligent Workshop Administrator to assist in supervising the day-to-day operations of our company. In this role, you will supervise all personnel, oversee the management and maintenance of equipment, and ensure the efficiency of operations. You will also be required to manage inventory and enforce safety regulations.

Reporting to: Workshop Foreman

Job Summary

You will schedule maintenance and repair appointments through adequate liaison with the Workshop Foreman, Administration Coordinator and the Mechanics, ensuring that booking in and out procedures are in place and that all documentation requirements are followed.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Degree in Motor Mechanics, Administration or Related field

  • Sound administration experience

  • Effective time management skills

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure

  • Diplomacy and sensitivity

  • Strong communication skills

  • Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly

  • Resourcefulness and the ability to troubleshoot

  • Able to work as part of a team

  • Computer skills,(intermediate level or higher) Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Strong document management skills


Other considerations

Appointment to this position is subject to the position holder having a full legal right to work in Zimbabwe. Appointment may also be subject to passing a mandatory full background check, police clearance and competency assessment.
