Data Analyst

AFC Leasing Company, a subsidiary of AFC Holdings, is currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our team.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development for Capital Equipment Leasing and Commodity Trading, the Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying, recording, analyzing, and reporting all data related to equipment use, tracking, and analysis to management.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.

  • Manage users and user roles in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.

  • Commission and decommission data sets.

  • Process confidential data and information according to guidelines.

  • Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

  • Assess tests and implement new or upgraded software, and assist with strategic decisions on new systems.

  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.

  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.

  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.

  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

  • Create and share reporting dashboards for service works due and pending, fuel consumption, work done schedule reconciliations, and variance reports.

  • Perform continuous internal and external data quality checks.


Job Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.

  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree or diploma in Statistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, Agriculture, Business Studies, or equivalent.

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis.
