Finance Manager

Our client in the agricultural industry is looking for a strong, experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasts, and models to ensure business objectives are met.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and other financial information.

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Oversee the organization's risk management activities, including the evaluation of financial risks and the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.

  • Manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date, and to provide support for business planning and decision-making.

  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have at least 10 years of experience

  • Must have a degree in Finance or similar.

  • Fully articled, qualified and registered CA would be an added advantage.

  • Comfortable meeting with senior management.

  • Experience in the Agricultural industry is a bonus.
