Project Manager

A local engineering company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage their projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets, communicating progress to stakeholders, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and tracking expenses

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

  • Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders, including clients and management

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as necessary

  • Develop project plans and timelines that meet client requirements and constraints

  • Supervise project team members, including managers, crane operators, and other personnel

  • Conduct site visits to inspect equipment and identify potential issues

  • Perform regular inspections on hoists and cranes to detect and address potential problems

  • Replace hoists that are not functioning properly

  • Perform routine maintenance on hoists and cranes as necessary

  • Test hoists and cranes after repairs or maintenance to ensure they are functioning properly and safely

  • Keep records of all work performed on hoists and cranes, including maintenance logs and specifications

  • Train other personnel on proper operation and maintenance of hoists and cranes

  • Communicate with customers about maintenance and repair needs

  • Install and assemble cranes and other lifting equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines

  • Ensure that all equipment functions properly, safely, and meets client requirements

  • Train clients and project managers on technical issues and provide support for maintenance as needed

  • Collaborate with clients and project managers to ensure successful startup and delivery of equipment

  • Document and communicate project progress to stakeholders, including project managers and clients

  • Maintain accurate records of project processes, including drawings, manuals, and other documentation


Requirements:

  • Qualification in Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in project management or related field

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
