Front Desk Receptionist

As a Front Desk Receptionist at CURE International in Bulawayo, your primary responsibility is to manage the front desk and provide administrative and clerical support.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally. Additionally, you will assist with various administrative tasks to contribute to the smooth operation of the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Answer incoming calls, redirecting them as necessary, and taking accurate messages.

  • Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and packages.

  • Maintain diaries and schedule appointments for staff members.

  • Prepare, type, and collate reports as required.

  • Support and facilitate the completion of regular reports.

  • Monitor office supplies and replenish them when necessary.

  • Develop and maintain an organized filing system.

  • Manage databases and update records as needed.

  • Make travel arrangements for staff members.

  • Liaise with relevant organizations and clients, maintaining professional and courteous communication.

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • HND in Secretarial Studies/Administration or a related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Ability to think innovatively and demonstrate strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.

  • Strong administrative and planning skills.

  • Capability to work well under pressure and react effectively in emergency situations.

  • Exceptional documentation, communication, and IT skills.
