Audit Associates

Crowe Zimbabwe is a leading professional services firm providing assurance, tax, advisory and risk services. As an independent member of Crowe Global, we support organizations and individuals globally through our multi-disciplinary teams.

Crowe Zimbabwe is recruiting 6 highly motivated Audit Associates to join our growing practice. These roles will support audit engagements by providing fieldwork assistance and conducting client services under the supervision of our qualified accountants.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform audit planning, fieldwork testing, documentation and financial statement reviews

  • Evaluate internal control procedures and assess risk of material misstatements

  • Apply knowledge of auditing standards and legislation to ensure regulatory compliance

  • Support senior team members during all phases of engagements, from intake to reporting

  • Maintain diligent workpapers, checklists and documentation of audit evidence

  • Update skills and learn from colleagues through on-the-job and formal training

  • Contribute positively to our firm culture of collaboration, growth and excellence

  • Prepare comprehensive engagement files and supporting schedules

  • Review work performed by junior staff members for quality assurance

  • Liaise regularly with clients to coordinate deadlines, requests and completion of audits


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized university

  • Working towards or recently obtained a Certificate in Theory of Accountancy

  • 0 to 2 years experience in an accounting or audit role preferred

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and accounting software
