Enterprise Business Development Officer

Telnet Business, founded in 2010, is a leading provider of converged business solutions. We specialize in offering full-service turnkey design and installation of telecommunications, networking, audio-visual, security, and smart home/office solutions.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Enterprise Business Development Officer to join our Enterprise Services division.

As an Enterprise Business Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and accelerating the digital transformation of new customers within large enterprises.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute business plans to exceed targets, build strategic relationships, and generate a strong pipeline of sales opportunities. Success in this role will be measured based on achieving sales targets, delivering end-customer success, and providing world-class customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term business plans to exceed sales targets.

  • Achieve and surpass margin, contract value, and revenue targets.

  • Deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.

  • Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close key new business deals.

  • Build and maintain a robustly qualified pipeline of sales opportunities within assigned industry verticals, aiming for a 3x target coverage level.

  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales achievements with an accuracy of +/- 10%.

  • Maintain an opportunity pipeline and accurately track deal positions.

  • Develop strategies, produce win-plans, and execute major deals.

  • Define target lists and engage potential customers based on clear criteria.

  • Conduct and document target prospect meetings according to agreed KPIs.

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the technology market, adoption trends, and factors impacting assigned verticals.

  • Foster strong relationships with senior executives within the customer and prospect base.

  • Establish and nurture a network of contacts and key individuals within assigned verticals and target markets.

  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for strategic step-change revenue growth.

  • Provide a clear and structured market approach that maximizes business returns.

  • Develop and execute specific business plans with measurable KPIs for system integrator business.

  • Identify and pursue account targets, defining the value proposition.

  • Provide clear leadership to virtual teams in pursuit of major business opportunities.

  • Produce quotations and lead the company's responses to tenders, RFI's, RFPs, and other response formats.


Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience navigating complex organizations with a strong understanding of professional services operating models.

  • Experience selling across ICT product suites, including Networking, Cloud, Managed IT Services, Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC), and Cyber Security.

  • Proven track record in sales and the ability to close deals.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Previous experience in a business development role, preferably in the ICT and AV industries, with security experience being advantageous.

  • Exceptional skills in managing a heavy workload, handling conflicting demands, and consistently producing high-quality work within tight deadlines.
