Finance Manager X2

A reputable local company is seeking two highly qualified and motivated Finance Managers to join their team.

Reporting to the General Manager and the Financial Controller, these positions offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial management and strategic decision-making processes within the organization.

Major Activities:


  • Provide comprehensive financial and management accounting support to the two Strategic Business Units (SBUs) within the company.

  • Collaborate in the planning and preparation of annual budgets for the SBUs.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for the SBUs.

  • Compile annual financial statements for the SBUs, adhering to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Work closely with the General Managers to develop and review product costing and pricing strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with tax and legal requirements applicable to the SBUs.

  • Oversee and manage intercompany transactions within the group.

  • Implement robust accounting policies and procedures across the SBUs.

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with Heads of Department regarding operational financial matters.

  • Provide accurate and insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.

  • Plan and prepare for internal and external audits, and effectively communicate audit findings to management.

  • Supervise and provide training to subordinate staff within the department.

  • Undertake any additional duties as delegated by superiors.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, ACCA, or CIS.

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar finance management position. Newly qualified professional Accountants with full Articles of Clerkship through ICAZ, ACCA, CIMA, and CIS are encouraged to apply.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and strong knowledge of accounting packages. Experience with NAVISION is an added advantage.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
