Schools Program Designer

EDU Africa is a leading organization that specializes in developing and facilitating Transformative Learning Journeys in Sub-Saharan Africa. We offer customized international education programs for participants from international academic institutions, including faculty-led programs, online global learning, school programs, and internships.

Our mission is to provide holistic transformation and create global agents of change through authentic African experiences. We are seeking a dedicated, personable, and enthusiastic Schools Program Designer to join our programming team.

As a Schools Program Designer, you will curate, promote, and oversee transformative and customized international educational middle and high school programs. This includes collaborating with clients, partners, and colleagues to ensure the needs and learning outcomes of students are met. The position is based in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Implement EDU Africa's programming approach for international middle and secondary schools traveling to Southern and West African countries.

  • Curate and craft innovative itineraries (program proposals) that are educationally sound and logistically viable in collaboration with clients.

  • Maintain and develop client relationships, including lead nurturing and follow-ups.

  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, contributors, and institutions.

  • Manage the logistical aspects of programs, such as bookings, travel arrangements, invoicing, and financial reconciliations.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • An appropriate Honours degree (a Master's degree is advantageous).

  • Knowledge of and experience working with international curricula, such as the Cambridge International Curriculum and US K-12 curriculum.

  • Previous exposure to international students or personal study abroad experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Google Workspace and Zoom (critical).

  • Ability to quickly learn and use platforms/software such as Xero Accounting Software and Insightly CRM Software.
