Fuel Tanker Driver wanted

Wanted urgently is a Fuel Tanker Driver who will be responsible for transporting large quantities of fuel from one location to another. Varying from time to time, you may be driving trucks, tankers, or other specialized vehicles that are designed to carry and deliver fuel in a safe and efficient manner.


As a fuel transport driver, you must have a thorough understanding of all applicable safety regulations and standards. This includes knowing how to properly load and unload your cargo as well as how to operate a fuel tanker vehicle safely while on the road.


Responsibilities



  • Delivering fuel products such as diesel, petrol, or LPG to service stations or other locations where they are needed

  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and routes for tax purposes

  • Inspecting delivery trucks for mechanical problems and maintenance needs

  • Following all local traffic laws and regulations to avoid accidents and traffic penalties.

  • Following company procedures to ensure safe handling of hazardous materials during transfer and storage

  • Operating vehicles to transport fuel from a fuel depot or distribution facility to retail outlets

  • Loading and unloading fuel onto delivery trucks using automated equipment such as forklifts or hoses connected to tanker trucks

  • Following safety procedures to prevent injuries to oneself and others while working with machinery or fueling vehicles


Requirements



  • Class 2 Driver’s licence

  • At least 5 O levels

  • A minimum of 5 years of similar and cross-border experience.
