Graduate Trainee (5 Posts)


INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (ICTS) DEPARTMENT


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Develop, test and implement new software programs;

  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications;

  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems to ensure strong functionality and optimization;

  • Integrate software components and third party programs;

  • Troubleshoot, debug existing software;

  • Create technical documentation.


Qualifications



  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution, passed with a degree class 2.1 or better;

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, PHP and Python, Appreciation of project management and IT Security;

  • Any certificate in IT programming will be an added advantage;

  • Age limit 26 years and below.

  • Ability to learn languages and technology quickly;

  • Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving skills;

  • Good communication (both written and verbal), time management and project management skills;
