Mining Planning Engineer - Zambezi Gas and Goal Mine

Zambezi Gas and Goal Mine, a fast growing coal mine which supplies coal to all sectors of the economy seeks to consider suitable and qualified candidates for the following position:


Mining Planning Engineer


Reporting to the Mining Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing mine layouts and preparation of production and development schedules


Minimum Requirements



  • A BSc in Mining Engineering Degree or equivalent with 5 years post qualification experience, mainly carrying out mine planning and design work

  • Knowledge of the coal value chain is an added advantage

  • Full blasting licence

  • Proficiency in the use of mining software packages.

  • Ability to budget and forecast.

  • Knowledge of S.H.E systems
