Qualified Sales & Marketing Officer - Africa on Solar

Africa on Solar (Private) Limited is looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales & Marketing Officer. Africa on Solar is an organization that offers innovatively bespoke solar solution technologies that range from installation to supply of a wide range of solar products. Relevant experience in the installation of solar power systems ranging from home and industrial solar systems, solar water systems (Solar Borehole Pumps) and electrical products will be an added advantage.

We are looking to hire an experienced sales and marketing officer to help drive company sales. In this position, you will be involved in developing marketing strategies, implementing marketing plans, developing sales strategies, maintaining customer relations, and creating sales reports.

To ensure success as a sales and marketing executive, you should have strong knowledge of modern marketing techniques, a passion for sales, and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch sales and marketing officer creates strategies that align with modern consumer trends.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Identifying new potential customers.

  • Establishing new markets and satisfying those on the portfolio.

  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.

  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.

  • Clients visits and promoting products and services.

  • Social Media Marketing

  • Field Marketing


Minimum Qualifications and Attributes

  • A University degree in Marketing Management or related qualification.

  • Must have a Clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence

  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.

  • A commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent negotiating skills
