Barloworld Zimbabwe, the exclusive distributor of Caterpillar equipment and solutions in Zimbabwe, is looking for applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following position that has fallen vacant in the organisation.

Sales Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic technical sales executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations. You will provide business support in key business initiatives to ensure sustainability and contribute to business results.

Duties and Responsibilities




  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team.

  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.

  • Identifying emerging market and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

  • Building and promoting strong, long lasting relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

  • Facilitate the efficient delivery of service through communication, negotiation and coordinate with internal and external clients to manage client relations.

  • Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability.


Qualifications and Experience




  • Degree in Sales and Marketing and or business administration or any related field is considered.

  • Experience and knowledge of the earth moving and construction equipment market is a "MUST" have.

  • Computer literacy (including relevant SAP exposure) MS Office etc

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager consistently meeting or exceeding targets.( Minimum 5 years)

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (verbal and written communication including listening)

  • Leadership potential Ability to achieve results utilizing talent in team.

  • Business Development skills and knowledge.

  • Good customer relations.
