The organisation has over 15 years of experience guiding industry leaders, government leaders, and business executives locally and abroad to navigate through volatile and chaotic environments to achieve long-term success and employ the best corporate governance practice.

We are seeking an agile strategic business leader with a proven track record of success in results-based performance, a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead our organization.

The CEO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, developing and implementing programs and initiatives, and building partnerships with stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management in a non-profit or corporate setting, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the organization

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government agencies

  • Oversee the development and delivery of training, research, and advocacy programs and initiatives

  • Manage the organization's finances and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Recruit, manage, and motivate staff and volunteers

  • Represent the organization at conferences, events, and other public forums

  • Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to advance the organization's mission and goals

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the organization operates efficiently and effectively

  • Proposal and report writing.


Qualifications and Experience


  • A 4-year bachelor’s Degree in the following subjects: Economics, Banking and Finance, Business Management, Marketing, Accounting, Law, and Corporate Governance.

  • Master’s degree and any other post-grad qualification will be an added advantage.

  • At least three years of management experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in the business consultancy and corporate governance space.

  • Previous executive director experience will be a plus.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of The National Code on Corporate Governance (ZIMCODE 1)

  • Clean class 4 driver’s license.
