Sales and Marketing Representative

A thriving food packaging company in Zimbabwe that provides high-quality packaging products and excellent customer service is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Representative to join its team.

The Sales and Marketing Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling our packaging products to customers, as well as developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to promote and sell packaging products to customers

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to increase revenue

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, including distributors, retailers, and manufacturers

  • Conduct market research and analyze market trends and data to identify opportunities and threats

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals

  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure the timely delivery of products and services

  • Participate in trade shows and other promotional events

  • Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities

  • Respond to inquiries and complaints from customers in a timely and professional manner


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent

  • 5 O-levels including Maths and English

  • Should be aged between 21 and 35

  • 2 to 7 years of work experience in sales and marketing

  • Sales driven with the ability to meet targets

  • Computer literate knowledge in pastel and microsoft packages

  • Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, mature and fast learner

  • Driver's license is a must

  • Display vigilance, integrity and honesty, excellent communication skills and negotiating skills
