Accountant

Our client is a leading company in the FMCG sector, committed to providing high-quality products and services to their customers.

We are currently seeking an Accountant to join their team and support their financial operations. The Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

  • Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare journal entries.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

  • Conduct regular audits of the company's financial systems and processes.

  • Provide financial analysis and advice to management.

  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • ACCA/CIMA or similar qualification.

  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting.

  • SAP experience is a must.

  • Experience in the transport sector or FMCG industry is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
