Accounts Clerk

Chrisdexta Investments is a dynamic and growing company in the cell phone and accessories distribution sector. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our team in Bindura. The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and financial tasks to support the company's operations.

This includes processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment to suppliers

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

  • Maintaining records of fixed assets and posting journals for expenses and revenue.
    Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly progress reports to the management for review.
    Drafting payment schedules for creditors, which involves liaising with the Administration department.

  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

  • Provide support for audits and other financial reviews

  • Ensure compliance with all accounting principles and tax laws

  • Secretarial duties.

  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Banking and Finance or Equivalent Business Qualification

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure

  • Highly analytical and numerical ability

  • Exceptional reporting and data presentation skills
