Bank Teller (Mutare)

We are seeking a Bank Teller to join our team in Mutare. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Banking and Finance or a related Business degree, a minimum of two years of experience as a Bank Teller or Customer Services Officer, and a clean driver's license.

As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Counting and verifying cash and checks to ensure accuracy.

  • Authorisation of work for other Bank Tellers.

  • Selling bank products.

  • Train youths in financial literacy and business management.

  • Balancing cash drawers and reconciling discrepancies.

  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services to clients.

  • Adhering to all banking policies and procedures.

  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Banking and Finance or related Business degree.

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Bank Teller or Customer Services Officer.

  • Clean driver's license (a prerequisite).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Familiarity with banking software and systems.
