Graphic Designer

Webdev (Pvt) Ltd is Zimbabwe's leading web and email hosting, online marketing, e-commerce, online payments, and web development company.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we have developed over 1,000 websites and have over 3,000 hosting clients and 1,000 online payment merchants.

We are committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients and are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing and web development teams to ensure that all designs are of high quality and meet the company's standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop visual designs for websites, advertisements, social media, and other marketing materials

  • Ensure that all designs are aesthetically pleasing, consistent, and of high quality

  • Collaborate with the marketing and web development teams to understand project requirements and ensure that all designs align with the company's vision and brand

  • Use desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator, to create designs

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Provide constructive criticism and receive feedback from team members

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new design techniques into projects


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator

  • A strong eye for visual composition

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design

  • Experience with computer-aided design

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clients and team members

  • Goal, results, and deadline-driven with a positive attitude

  • Passion for marketing
