Sales Clerk

Shoppers Retail and Wholesale is a leading retail and wholesale chain in Zimbabwe. We offer a wide range of products at competitive prices, including groceries, household items, electronics, and clothing.

We are committed to providing our customers with exceptional service and a pleasant shopping experience. We are seeking a Sales Clerk to join our team at our Chisipite branch, we are looking for people within Chisipite and Mabvuku area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their purchases

  • Answer customer inquiries and provide information on products and services

  • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately

  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift

  • Ensure that the store is clean and well-organized at all times

  • Restock shelves and ensure that products are properly displayed

  • Monitor inventory levels and notify the Store Manager when stock is low

  • Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of customers and staff

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics

  • Any relevant sales or marketing diploma or background of 1 to 2 years of experience in the retail or service industry
