Bus Driver

Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) is looking for a reliable Bus Driver to join the company's dynamic team in Bulawayo. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting staff and materials to various sites safely and efficiently.

Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) is a state-owned power generation company in Zimbabwe. It was established in 1996 and is responsible for generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity in the country.

The Bus Driver will be responsible for driving and maintaining company buses, ensuring the safety of passengers, and delivering materials to various sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Transport staff and materials to various sites safely and efficiently

  • Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of company buses

  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and report any faults to the Transport Manager

  • Ensure the safety of passengers and comply with all traffic regulations

  • Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities

  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials as required


Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 O Levels including English Language

  • Clean Class 1 Drivers License (Proof of retesting with vehicle inspectorate department should be clearly indicated)

  • Valid Defensive certificate

  • Valid Medical Fitness Certificate

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
