Swift Transport Zimbabwe is currently seeking Class 2 Drivers to fill multiple vacancies. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty vehicles and ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods.

The successful candidates will possess a valid Class 2 Driver's License, relevant certifications, and a proven track record of driving heavy-duty vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for a new challenge in the transportation industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company regulations.

  • Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness.

  • Adhere to proper loading and unloading procedures and secure cargo appropriately.

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including trip logs, fuel usage, and maintenance reports.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.

  • Comply with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the company.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and helpful during interactions with clients.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 O-Levels, including English and Mathematics.

  • Hold a valid Class 2 Driver's License with a re-test.

  • Have a valid medical certificate and Defensive Driving Certificate.

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years' experience driving heavy-duty vehicles with traceable references.

  • Be 35 years of age and above.

  • Provide a valid Police Clearance certificate.
