Our reputable client is a leading sports media organization covering major local and international sporting events. Through multi-platform coverage, we keep audiences engaged and informed on everything from player profiles to game analysis.

Our client is seeking a Journalism and Media Studies Attache to support content production. The ideal candidate has both academic and practical experience in digital sports reporting. This role plays an integral part in content strategy and distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Produce written, photographic and video content covering matches, athletes and trends

  • Conduct interviews and support live reporting for matches/tournaments

  • Curate social media updates, headlines and multimedia shares

  • Draft news releases, athlete profiles and long-form editorial pieces

  • Fact-check and edit articles for style, grammar and flow

  • Track analytics and help refine distribution strategy based on engagement

  • Contribute ideas to expand multimedia offerings like podcasts or livestreams

  • Network with industry contacts to develop story leads and source materials

  • Stay up-to-date on sports industry best practices for multimedia journalism


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Journalism, Media Studies or related field with sports reporting experience

  • 2+ years experience in sports writing, editing or content strategy

  • Passion for a variety of sporting codes and knowledge of local/international players

  • Creative thinker with solid news judgement and storytelling capabilities

  • Proficiency with content management systems and social media platforms

  • Ability to produce multimedia content such as photos, audio or video

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic
