Zinara is looking for a highly skilled Assistant Mechanic to join their dynamic team. As an Assistant Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing mechanical parts in automobiles.

Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of vehicles, supporting Zinara's mission of ensuring high-quality road transportation services.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues and perform diagnostic tests.

  • Repair or replace malfunctioning mechanical parts, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes.

  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

  • Use various tools and equipment to disassemble, assemble, and adjust mechanical components.

  • Follow technical manuals and specifications to ensure proper repair procedures.

  • Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting in vehicles.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.

  • Assist senior mechanics in complex repair tasks when necessary.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Five O'Level subjects, including Mathematics/Accounts and English.

  • Two A-Level passes or equivalent.

  • Semi-Skilled Artisan (Class 2 Motor Mechanic) certification.

  • At least two years of experience in a similar field.

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
