Victoria Foods is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Electrician to join our dynamic team in Gweru. As an Assistant Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting our electrical operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical faults and issues.

  • Assist in the testing and calibration of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.

  • Support the implementation of electrical safety measures and protocols.

  • Assist in the wiring and connection of electrical components and fixtures.

  • Collaborate with the electrical team to coordinate and prioritize tasks.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

  • Assist in conducting electrical system audits and inspections.

  • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines in all electrical work.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 'O' levels, including Mathematics, Science, and English.

  • Technical qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.

  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Familiarity with electrical safety protocols and regulations.

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Adherence to quality and safety standards.
