Business Unit Manager - Car Rental

As the Business Unit Manager, you will provide visible leadership, ensuring the smooth operation of the business unit and driving maximum sales, turnover, and profitability. Join us and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding car rental services.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Formulate, implement, and monitor business plans and budgets.

  • Ensure the business achieves its monthly and annual sales and profitability targets.

  • Analyze and review business unit expenses against the budget.

  • Manage and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

  • Improve customer relations and expand the current customer base.

  • Identify and exploit new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.

  • Determine market potential and gather market intelligence.

  • Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate risks within the business unit.

  • Conduct quality control checks on all vehicles before releasing them to customers.

  • Supervise subordinates and conduct quarterly performance reviews as required.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Business Studies, Sales and Marketing, or any related field.

  • Master's in Business Administration would be an added advantage.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a management position.

  • Previous experience in the car rental industry is preferred.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Strong teamwork skills.

  • Analytical mindset.

  • Proficient in MS Office.

  • Knowledge of car rental operations is an added advantage.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Service-oriented attitude.
