Group Accountant (Western Cape, Paal)


A Logistics Company based in Paarl is looking for a Group Accountant. The incumbent will be responsible for management of the Group consolidation process, co-ordination and evaluation of incoming information to determine accuracy and completeness, and critical analysis of both financial and non-financial information.



DUTIES:


  • Monthly reporting, planning, budgeting and taxation

  • Systems management

  • Treasury and group finance management

  • Insurance management

  • Annual Budgets and Financial Statements

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships



CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bcomm or similar accounting degree

  • CA (SA) Or similar

  • 3-5 years’ post article experience within a group environment with exposure to consolidations, treasury and taxations functions.

  • Good IFRS technical knowledge.


OTHER:

  • R840 000 per annum
