Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior Attorney with experience in insolvency law to join their dynamic team. As a Junior Attorney, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's insolvency practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to insolvency law cases.
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
- Attend court proceedings and hearings, representing clients in insolvency matters.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide valuable insights.
- Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel, clients, and other parties involved in insolvency cases.
- Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information and assess legal needs.
- Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.
- Stay updated on changes in insolvency laws and regulations to provide accurate and informed advice to clients.
- Support senior attorneys in preparing for trials and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- LLB degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Admission as an attorney in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in insolvency law, specifically in liquidations and sequestrations.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Remuneration:
- Monthly basic salary ranging from R20,000 to R25,000.
- Company vehicle provided.
