Mechanical Project Engineer (Ref: JSMPE)

As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for developing mechanical products, designing and modifying manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining the company's reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Study customer requirements and conduct research to develop mechanical products.

  • Test and evaluate different manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.

  • Design and modify equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.

  • Develop testing methods to ensure system and product quality.

  • Prepare product reports by collecting and analyzing information and trends.

  • Provide engineering information and support to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Comply with government regulations to maintain product and company reputation.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services for operational equipment.

  • Maintain system and product database by writing computer programs and entering data.

  • Train and guide technicians to complete engineering projects.

  • Design conveyor structures, mining components, and prepare detailed drawings for manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Department to meet client requirements.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements by attending workshops and reviewing publications.

  • Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to team efforts.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.

  • Professionally Registered or in the process of registration.

  • Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and other mechanical engineering concepts.

  • Excellent math skills, including advanced geometry, calculus, and physics.

  • Familiarity with CAD and other mechanical design software.

  • Creative thinking and innovation in problem-solving.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

  • Commercial awareness and understanding of target users and market demands.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
