Qualified Ford Diagnostic Technician

Our client is looking for a qualified Ford Diagnostic Technician to join their dynamic team in the Greater Durban Area, KwaZulu-Natal. As a Ford Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and repairs on Ford vehicles.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, friendly, and able to work independently. Join our client's team and contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform minor and major services on Ford vehicles.

  • Remove and replace engines as required.

  • Strip and assemble engines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Remove and replace gearboxes.

  • Repair and maintain braking systems.

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on steering systems.

  • Perform suspension repairs and adjustments.

  • Service differentials.

  • Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.

  • Perform mechanical diagnostics to identify and resolve problems.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid South African Driver's License.

  • Senior Certificate.

  • Merseta Trade Test Certificate.

  • Ford Diagnostic Certificate.

  • Ford Stars ID.

  • Fully stocked toolbox.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Ford or Mazda dealership.

  • Proficiency in Ford Diagnostic systems.
